Ron Young joined the Bakersfield Thiesen Dueker Office in 2007, after working for one of the major firms on Wall Street. He enjoys working with individuals to help them pursue their goals by creating individualized portfolios based on his client’s investment objectives and risk tolerance. Ron takes pride in being able to explain the world of investments to his clients in way that makes it easy for his clients to understand so they can feel more at ease.
Before Ron moved to Bakersfield, he completed a tour of duty in the US Coast Guard and started his beginning 3 years of college at the University of Houston. He then moved to Bakersfield to attend and finish his college career at the California State University, Bakersfield. Once he moved to Bakersfield, he met and married his wife, Danette, and has raised two sons, William and Benjamin. He is an active member of Kiwanis and relaxes by growing a huge garden, occasionally playing golf, shooting sporting clays, and working out regularly in Aikido martial arts training.
